![]() ![]() ![]() There’s a point when he’s joined up where he confesses a few things to hero in private one night when partner is asleep. but being the only one with the memories of their past together did hurt him, along with seeing how much hero and partner got along and worked well together on one hand he was happy to see they were alright after all, pokemon or not. they would want me to keep going, just like i would want them to continue”Īfter the reveal of hero being turned into a pokemon and losing their memory, grovyle was very….mixed. he missed hero deeply and felt very lost and unsure, but eventually moved past it enough, “because no matter what, i can’t allow this mission to fail. It was sadly one of those situations where grovyle didn’t completely put together his feelings until after they arrived at the past. I like the idea that grovyle first met hero as a treecko and they spent years together before managing to travel to the past, getting stronger together They really looked up to each other, the both of them were really brave and also had moments of doubt and wondering if their plan would really work, but having each other to count on helped a lot, there’s no way they would’ve gotten as far as they did without each other I used to ship hero and grovyle ages ago, it was basically i shipped past/future/human!hero with grovyle and then pokemon!hero and partner. However, if it hits, it will sharply lower his special attack.…*squints* technically my headcanon asks are closed, but also technically this doesn’t count! sure why not lol Leaf Storm: Grovyle blasts a massive storm of leaves for a large portion of damage.False Swipe: Grovyle slashes the opponent, always leaving him or her with at least 1 HP.This also differs from its canon counterpart. Detect: Grovyle gets the protect status, so as long as it's active, the opponent can't damage him.Agility: Grovyle lightens its body to sharply increase its speed.Screech: Grovyle lets out a screech, which sharply reduces the defense of all enemies in earshot. This varies very differently to its canon counterpart. Pursuit: Grovyle gains the counter status, so every physical move that hits him will get partially returned back to the user.Fury Cutter: Grovyle cuts the opponent with a bug attack, which somehow hits the opponent twice in a row.Leer: Grovyle looks at the opponent menacingly, lowering defense.Slam: Grovyle powerfully slams the opponent with its tail.Bullet Seed: Grovyle continuously fires a stream of damaging seeds from its mouth. It doesn't stop going until it hits something. Energy Ball: Grovyle creates a ball of verdant energy and throws it at the opponent in a straight line.Absorb: Grovyle takes a portion of the opponent's health and uses it to restore his own.Nothing (aside from earthquakes) can hit it while underground. Grovyle uses this move for more than just attacking, as he uses it for escape, hiding, and all around stealth. Grovyle digs underground, and shortly later, attacks the opponent with a physical Ground- type attack. It normally goes first, cuts through corners, and has more range than his other moves. Quick Attack: Grovyle uses its amazing speed to attack the opponent before the opponent can react.Leaf Blade: Grovyle uses the leaves on his arms as blades and carves up the opponent. In the end, he, Dusknoir, and Celebi are spared by a being even higher than Dialga, allowing them to live in the future. The two of them team up together to defeat Primal Dialga. Primal Dialga orders for Dusknoir to be executed for his failure by Primal Dialga's army, but gets away with the help of Grovyle. But later in the game, the player and their partner team up with Grovyle to stop Temporal Tower's collapse. Early in the game, Grovyle is discovered to be stealing the Time Gears, and is labeled as a criminal. Grovyle is a major character in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky. Grovyle and the player's character both came back from the future to stop time from freezing and the planet's paralysis. ![]()
